Description
Description:
the Leicaflex SL2 was the final development in German designed Leica SLR cameras. After the SL2, all SLR cameras were developed in cojunction with Minolta.
Improvements over the standard Leicaflex SL:
– much more sensitive meter
– illumination in prism
– split image viewing screen
– mirror cchanged to allow use of 16mm and 19m lenses
– Hotshoe with contacts for flash
– Film back is opened by lifting the rewind crank
Condition details:
Cosmetic: Light surface wear to the exterior.
Optical: There is substantial loss of silvering to the prism which affects the image seen through the viewfinder. It appears at mottling. The image taken is, of course, unaffected.
Mechanical: Shutter speeds are all working and accurate.
Electrical: No corrosion to the battery contacts. Meter is working and tested.
Light seals: Light seals are very good. They are showing some signs of age, but they are not sticky or crumbling.
Cosmetic Condition: 4
(Signs of light use, but not misuse. No other cosmetic damage.)
Functional Condition: F
(Everything functioning. Major functions function, though have not been adjusted for accuracy. Image maybe impaired. )
