This prism is a PME prism, which has been re-calibrated for use with an Acute-Matte screen.
The controls on the prism allow you to set the film speed and the lens’s maximum aperture. In the prism is an illuminated numerical EV display, indicating the desired exposure. Takes a 6V PX28 battery.
This particular prism was made in 1984.
Condition details:
Included (might not be in photographs): Rubber eye cup. Very slightly perished.
Cosmetic: Light surface wear to the exterior. Some of the writing has worn a bit.
Optical: The optics are excellent – free from all scratches, haze and fungus.
Mechanical: Fully working.
Electrical: No corrosion to the battery contacts. Meter is working and tested.
Dust/Haze: Minimal dust. No haze.
Graded: Excellent Plus
