    Description:
    The Softar filters are plastic lenses with convex diffusion elements over the face of the filter. The provide a better softening effect than most diffusers, which simply dull the lens resolution.

    They were made in three grades, I, II and III.

    Available in both chrome and black. The Chrome versions were made between 1966 and 1974, and the black versions after 1974.
    Included:
    Includes original box, plus front and rear caps.
    Condition details:
    Cosmetic: Moderate wear to the exterior. No dents, major scratches or other damage. Box and lens cap have the original owner’s address stuck to them.
    Optical: There are slight cleaning marks or scratches. These will not affect its optical performance.
    Cosmetic Condition: 5
    (Complete, but showing signs of normal use or age.)
    Functional Condition: E
    (Everything functioning. Major functions have recently been professionally tested.)
