This is an upgrade to the normal 50mm Distagon lens. Lauched in 1982, it includes a ‘floating lens element’ group, which offers significantly close focusing allowing focusing of 50cm to be achieved without extension tubes. A separate focusing ring is fitted to adjust the floating elements. In addition, it has a smaller maximum aperture (f32) and is slightly shorter in length.

Front and rear lens caps.
Condition details:
Cosmetic: Heavy wear to the exterior and loss of the black coating, especially to the front filter mount.
Optical: The optics are good. There are cleaning marks and slight scratches to the front and rear lenses elements. These will not affect its optical performance.
Mechanical: Shutter speeds are all working and accurate. Aperture blades are fast and free from oil.
Dust/Haze: A moderate amount of internal dust and haze which is visible in certain light. Image is unlikely to be affected.
Cosmetic Condition: 5
