Description
Description:
Made between 1994 and 1997 as an entry level product into the V-system range. It was only available in black as a kit with a 80mm lens.
This camera was made in 1995. It is supplied with the original lens and film back.
The notable differences between it and the common 500C/M, and other cameras are:
– does not have the cocked/release indicator on the side
– winding crank is not removeable
– has a new wider style shutter release button and is missing the ‘T’ lever
– rubber pads on the base similar to the other newer models
– supplied with a valuable ‘Acute Matte’ focusing screen
The ‘new C’ lens is a simplified version of the CF lens. It does not have the ‘F’ setting, meaning it cannot be used with focal plane cameras as found on the 200 and 2000 models.
Included:
This back has a matching insert. Backs and inserts were finely adjusted as a pair at the factory, to ensure a perfect image. The inserts were marked with the serial number so that they could be identified.
