This camera body incorporates a motor for automatically advancing the film, cocking the shutter and returning the mirror to the viewing position.
The 500 EL/M is a modified 500 EL, with the facility for user interchangeable viewing screens. The EL/M was available from 1971 to 1985, when it was replaced by the EL/X. In 1971 and 1972 the 500 EL/M was available only in chrome, but by 1973 black bodies were also available.
Included:
Standard viewing screen. If not needed, the price can be reduced by £25.
Condition details:
Cosmetic: Light surface wear. The rear panel, where the film back is fitted, it hardly marked.
Optical: There are a few marks to the viewing screen and patching to the edges.
Mechanical: Fully working. Strong and no damage.
Electrical: No corrosion to the battery contacts.
Cosmetic Condition: 4
(Signs of light use, but not misuse. No other cosmetic damage.)
Functional Condition: E
(Everything functioning. Major functions have recently been professionally tested.)
