A stunning camera. Unused and complete with the original lens and paperwork. Made between 1982 and 2001, the FM2 is an advanced semi-professional camera. It is all mechanical and will work without a battery. This is unusual as most cameras from this period have an electronically controlled shutter. The meter, though, does need a battery. Has shutter speeds upto 1/4000 second. This is the third version of the camera: – it has a 1/250 flash sync speed – an ‘N’ before the serial number – a later aluminium (non-honeycomb) shutter
Condition details:
Cosmetic: Unmarked. Even the base, which shows wear first, is unmarked.
Optical: The optics are excellent – free from all scratches, debris and fungus.
Mechanical: Fully working.
Electrical: No corrosion to the battery contacts. Meter is working and tested.
Dust/Haze: Perfect. As New. There are no particles of dust or any haze.
