The Nikon F3 was Nikon’s first professional camera with a light meter built into the body. It is the last professional manual focus Nikon made, the later F4 having auto focus. An excellent and durable camera. It can use all manual focus Nikon lenses, allows TTL flash metering and has an interchangeable prism and viewing screen.
This is the ‘HP’ variant, with a ‘High Eyepoint’ viewfinder. The large viewfinder allows the entire image and exposure information to be viewed from one inch away, a particular advantage for wearers of glasses.
Has just been serviced and is supplied with an extended 6 month warranty.
Condition details:
Included: Motordrive cap is supplied. Strap.
Cosmetic: Heavy wear, including some loss of the black coating to the edges. Which is very common.
Optical: Dent to edge of viewfinder lens. Viewfinder works okay and image is unaffected.
Mechanical: Fully working. Strong and no damage.
Electrical: No corrosion to the battery contacts. Meter is working and tested.
Light seals: Light seals are brand new. They have just been replaced.
Graded: Bargain
