A rare and rewarding survey of Johan Svendsen's orchestral output, featuring the Latvian National Symphony Orchestra under Terje Mikkelsen on the respected cpo label. Svendsen, Grieg's great Norwegian contemporary, wrote music of warmth, colour, and Romantic flair that deserves far wider recognition. An ideal introduction to an unjustly neglected composer, presented across three well-filled discs.

This is a used CD. The disc and case have been inspected and are in good condition. Broken or damaged jewel cases will be replaced before dispatch.
