The Hasselblad pistol grip 46221 - the version made specifically for the motorised 500EL and 500EL/M bodies, with a trigger shaped to suit the EL's own release rather than the 500C type. It is the scarcer of the two Hasselblad grips; the 500C/M version turns up regularly, this one much less often. The grip clamps to the camera's tripod plate on a Hasselblad-marked rail, putting the trigger under your index finger and the camera's weight into your palm, which is what makes an EL body genuinely usable handheld rather than a two-handed job. A leather hand strap keeps it secure, and an accessory shoe on the rail takes a flash or a meter.
