Hasselblad 2002 A12N A12 Back Darkslide Holder (30212). Condition - 3E [4645].

'A12N' is not a factory designation, but one that is used to distinguish between the early and later versions of the A12 back. In 1984 a number of changes were made to improve then:- the film insert has a single steel arm to retain both spools- the release button has a '12' on it- 'made in Sweden by Victor Hasselblad' was added to the side plate- film speed reminder is now a slot, rather than a fold down door which was often damagedIn 1997 a further change was made that is very noticeable and somewhat overdue - a built in darkslide holder was added!Included:This back has a matching insert. Backs and inserts were finely adjusted as a pair at the factory, to ensure a perfect image. The inserts were marked with the serial number so that they could be identified.
