The most useful of all the viewing screens. It has a split image for focusing, and a grid for aligning the image
Identifying an Acute matte screen is straight forward, especially when you have a standard screen to compare with:
- Bottom bottom of the focusing screen is matt in texture
- Grid lines are edged into the rear and stand proud of the surface, so can be seen or felt
- Transmits twice as much light compared to other versions
