This is a very rare lens hood. They are very difficult to find, especially in this condition.
A 63mm screw in lens shade specifically designed for early Super-Wide and SW cameras with the 38mm Biogon lens.
It also acts as the filter retaining ring. Will allow the use of any 63mm/Series 8 (VIII) drop in filters with the camera.
