Description

Magazines made between 1955 and 1968, with serial numbers CC20000 to TR132999, are type 'C' magazines. The first type was made for the later part of the 1000F production and SWA/SW from 1955-1957. They have serial numbers generally up to 35000 and have the 'two hole' film door. For cameras produced between 1957-1968, the film magazines differ externally only in the design of the film door, being the later 'one hole' design. Both these types of C magazines are usable on any V-System camera made. All are chrome, there is no standard production of black. This is a 1963 example, serial TP 74773. The shell and the insert both carry the same number, so it is a genuinely matched back rather than a married pair, which is worth having as an insert seats and spaces most reliably in the shell it was built with.
