Phase One PowerPhase Scanning Digital Back for Fuji GX680.
Description
An early scanning digital back suitable for use on a Fuji GX680 camera. The resolution is huge, likely 49M pixels (7,000 x 7,000), but as it captures three true RGB measurements the resolution is c. 150m pixels.
This is a scanning back, which means:
- the camera scans the image (like a flatbed scanner) and will take several minutes to capture an image
- not suitable for subjects that are moving
- captures three true RGB pixels per location, resulting in a very high quality image
- captures 8 bit images, though password supplied to get 16 bit images
- ISO upto 1600
It has a SCSI connection. Was originally used on a Classic Apple Macintosh (running OS9). Does support windows.
We have not tried to get this up an running. It is supplied with cables, power supply, manuals, SCSI card and software (for Mac and Windows).
