    First made in 1965, this is a slightly longer telephoto lens. It has a fast f2.8 maximum aperture and a built in lens hood. This is the first variant of the lens, with the earlier lens coating and a serial number between 135001 and 367229. Two versions were made with ‘Nippon Kogaku’ and ‘Nikon’, this lens is the later ‘Nikon’ version. This lens has had a new factory AI aperture ring fitted. The ring has the later scalloped edges.
    Condition details:
    Included (might not be in photographs): Front and rear caps.
    Cosmetic: Almost no wear.
    Optical: The optics are excellent – free from all scratches, debris and fungus.
    Mechanical: Focusing is very slightly on the stiff side. Usable, but a bit stiff.
    Dust/Haze: Almost perfect. A tiny amount of internal dust/haze, which is visible when a bright light is hone through the lens. Image will not be affected.
    Graded: Bargain
    (Rough with cosmetic damage. Glass heavily marked or fungus. )
