A very fast and wide lens. When new, this was considered practically essential for press photographers.
8 elements, in 6 groups. Closest focusing is 30cm. Very wide depth of field. At f16 it will focus between infinity and 1.4m.
This is the very first version of this lens, with a light yellow coating to the optics.
Included:
Bubble case and front cap.
Condition details:
Cosmetic: Light wear. Mark to the front filter ring.
Optical: The optics are very good. There are very minor cleaning marks or scratches. No debris or fungus.
Dust/Haze: A little internal dust and haze. This is typical and expected for a used lens of this age. Lens are not sealed units and will exchange are with the outside environment. Image will not be affected.
Cosmetic Condition: 4
(Signs of light use, but not misuse. No other cosmetic damage.)
