    Musahino, now known as Wista, were manufacturers of the first Japanese 6x9cm SLR camera, the ‘Rittreck IIa’. This camera was made between 1956 and 1960. Also made was the very similar ‘Optika IIa’, which has a slighly slower shutter.

    We have a number of lenses, viewfinders and backs for these early and most unusual cameras. Please check our other listings.

    Condition details:
    Cosmetic: Light wear.
    Optical: The optics are very good. There are very minor cleaning marks or scratches. No debris or fungus, though a lot of haze.
    Dust/Haze: A large amount of internal dust/haze. Image may be affected. Could do with cleaning.
