An excellent double gauss lens, like a Zeiss Planar, which provides exceptional sharpness.
This lens has a three cams, making it suitable for all Leica SLR cameras.
Leica R lenses have three different types of cam arrangement. The can be grouped as:
1) Original Leicaflex
2) Leicaflex SL and SL2
3) Leica R models from R3 onwards
Condition details:
Cosmetic: Heavy wear to the exterior and loss of the black coating consistent with handling.
Optical: There is a 6mm chip to the edge of the front element. Likely to have been caused by the image that caused the ding.
Mechanical: Ding to front filter mounting ring.
Dust/Haze: A moderate amount of internal dust and haze which is visible in certain light. Image is unlikely to be affected.
Cosmetic Condition: 6
(Well used. Showing signs of heavy use.)
Functional Condition: H
(Usable but not fully. Shutter may stick on slow speeds. Meter may not work. Image will be impaired. )
