    Description

    Description:
‘A16N’ is not a factory designation, but one that is used to distinguish between the early and later versions of the A16 back.

In 1984 a number of changes were made to improve them:
    – the film insert has a single steel arm to retain both spools
    – the release button has a ’16’ on it
    – ‘made in Sweden by Victor Hasselblad’ was added to the side plate
    – film speed reminder is now a slot, rather than a fold down door which was often damaged
    – in 1997 a further change was made that is very noticeable and somewhat overdue – a built in darkslide holder was added!
