Description
Description:
The A-16 magazine allows 16 frames to be exposed onto a standard 120 film, in the popular 645 format. Each image is 6cm by 4.5cm (2 1/4 inches by 1 5/8 inches).
This later ‘A’ magazine was designed to improve the relatively slow film loading procedure of the earlier version ‘C’ of the magazine. There were also complaints that the very fast film could be fogged through the viewing port on the previous version.
The A16 was all chrome until 1973 after which both black and chrome versions were available, numbered 30082 and 30155 respectively.
Included:
This back has a matching insert. Backs and inserts were finely adjusted as a pair at the factory, to ensure a perfect image. The inserts were marked with the serial number so that they could be identified.
