A compelling double-disc pairing of two contrasting approaches to Bach's Brandenburg Concertos: Benjamin Britten's celebrated 1968 English Chamber Orchestra recording — captured at Snape Maltings by legendary Decca engineer Kenneth Wilkinson — alongside Neville Marriner's polished Academy of St. Martin-in-the-Fields account. Britten's reading remains historically distinctive, and Wilkinson's engineering ensures the sound still impresses today.
