Short Description

Ernest Chausson (Composed By), Charles Dutoit (Conductor), Orchestre Symphonique De Montréal (Orchestra) (Decca)

Description

Dutoit and the Orchestre Symphonique de Montréal were the gold standard for French repertoire, and this Decca compilation showcases exactly why. Their Chausson survey spans the beloved Symphony, the ravishing Concert for violin and piano, the iconic Poème, and a rarely recorded Piano Quartet — all in Decca's characteristically sumptuous sound. An ideal introduction to French late-Romantic music at its finest.

This is a used CD. The disc and case have been inspected and are in good condition. Broken or damaged jewel cases will be replaced before dispatch.
