    This 1936 Leica IIIa with Elmar 3.5 f=5cm lens is in excellent condition. The lens is in a similar condition, though does have some internal haze.

    The IIIa model was the first Leica with 1/1000 shutter speed.

    Includes rangefinder for focusing.

    Condition details:
    Included (might not be in photographs): Original leather case.
    Cosmetic: Moderate wear with some minor brassing on the flash holder. Excellent condition considering its age.
    Optical: Some minor marks and tiny scratches on the front element.
    Mechanical: Shutter, focus and rangefinder working.
    Dust/Haze: A moderate amount of internal dust and haze due to age.
    Graded: Excellent Plus
    (Signs of light use, but not misuse. )
