    Description

    Description:
This lens was first made in 1962, replacing the previous 5.8cm f1.4 lens. One of the earliest variants, with a narrow scalloped aperture ring and amber lens coating. It is marked ‘Nippon Kogako’, rather than ‘Nikon’. Full details: https://www.destoutz.ch/lens_50mm_f1.4_348204.html
    Condition details:
Cosmetic: Very light wear. A little loss of the black coating to the leading front edge of the focusing ring, very minor though.
Optical: Almost perfect. The smallest, cleaning marks.
Mechanical: Fully working. The focusing control is a little stiff in one part, the aperture control is smooth and the blades free from oil.
Dust/Haze: No dust or haze, which is unusual for a lens that is 60 years old.
    Graded: Like New Minus
(Close inspection reveals slight signs of wear. )
