    This lens was first made in 1962, replacing the previous 5.8cm f1.4 lens. This is the second variant of this lens, with the scalloped aperture ring and amber lens coating. It is marked ‘Nippon Kogako’, rather than ‘Nikon’.

    Will fit on some Nikon DSLR cameras. Depending on the model of camera, the exposure and metering maybe affected. It should not be fitted to a camera that has a non-removable AI tab.

    Condition details:
    Cosmetic: Light surface wear to the exterior.
    Optical: The optics are very good. There are very minor cleaning marks or scratches. No debris or fungus.
    Mechanical: Shutter speeds are all working and accurate. Aperture blades are fast and free from oil.
    Dust/Haze: A little internal dust and haze. This is typical and expected for a used lens of this age. Lens are not sealed units and will exchange are with the outside environment. Image will not be affected.
    Cosmetic Condition: 5
