A rare and excellent lens. Suitable for all cameras with a Leica bayonet mount.
Condition details:
Included (might not be in photographs): Genuine and correct f2 50mm Zeiss shade, which is marked ‘Made in Japan’ and ‘Carl Zeiss’. Rear cap.
Cosmetic: Light surface wear to the exterior. Has been well used and is showing marks on the machined focusing grip.
Optical: The optics are excellent – free from all scratches, debris and fungus.Very slight cleaning marks. The optical condition is much better than the exterior, but there are a few minisule marks which stop us from saying ‘perfect’.
Mechanical: Fully working.
Dust/Haze: A little internal dust and haze. This is typical and expected for a used lens of this age. Lens are not sealed units and will exchange are with the outside environment. Image will not be affected.
Graded: Excellent
