Designed to achieve the optimum ratio of lens speed to focal length, the 100mm Planar is distinguished by an outstanding image rendition and freedom from distortion.
Its 100mm focal length makes it an excellent standard lens, as well as a short telephoto in all applications where the highest image quality is required.
The degree of distortion correction attained is outstanding – even by Hasselblad’s rigourously high standards.
Condition details:
Cosmetic: Light wear.
Optical: The optics are excellent – free from all scratches, debris and fungus.
Mechanical: Shutter speeds are all working and accurate. Aperture blades are fast and free from oil. Focusing is a little stiff, could be rectified with a service for £80.
Dust/Haze: Almost perfect. A tiny amount of internal dust/haze, which is visible when shine a bright light through the lens. Image will not be affected.
Cosmetic Condition: 4
(Signs of light use, but not misuse. No other cosmetic damage.)
Functional Condition: E
